About this issue

This issue features the first installment of "Without Love" by Rick Strauss, a novelette set in a future society divided between Old Men (the original human population with extended lifespans) and the superior New Men, a genetically bred elite. The protagonist, Teamster Alcott, encounters a beautiful New Woman named Celeste and becomes entangled with her while harboring resentment toward the New Men who have superseded his kind. The issue includes short stories: "Conspiracy" by John Christopher, "Present from Mars" by Martin Jordan, "Playing with Time" by W. H. Soore, and "Parting" by Peter E. Higby.
