Stuart Moore

Stuart Moore is an American comic book writer and editor, born in 1964. He is best known for his work on superhero titles, particularly *Firestorm: The Nuclear Man* and *Namor: The First Mutant*, as well as creator-owned projects like *EGOs* and the graphic novel *Lone*. Moore entered the industry in the early 1990s, working as an editor at DC Comics before transitioning to writing full-time. His scripts often blend character-driven drama with high-concept sci-fi, and he has collaborated with artists such as Chris Batista and Gus Vazquez. He co-created *EGOs* with artist Gus Vazquez, a series about corporate-sponsored superheroes, and wrote for *Justice League of America / The 99*. Later in his career, Moore expanded into prose novels, including *The Zodiac Legacy* series with Stan Lee. He has received no major industry awards but remains a respected figure for his steady contributions to both mainstream and independent comics.
