Deadpool the Duck #1

Marvel's 2017 mashup series kicks off with one of the most gleefully absurd premises in recent memory: Deadpool plus Howard the Duck equals… well, the cover spells it out literally, with a simple equation before revealing the duck-billed, red-suited, sword-and-gun-wielding result charging straight at the reader. David Nakayama's cover art sells the hybrid perfectly — webbed feet, Deadpool's signature mask, and Howard's unmistakable bill all rolled into one surprisingly dynamic little figure. Writer Stuart Moore and artist Jacopo Camagni promise a series that's as fun as it sounds, and this first issue is the place to dive in.
