Dennis becomes an official member of the Fantastic Four, receives the codename Flux and joins the team on a mission to the center of the galaxy to bring an end to a feeding frenzy being committed by Ego the Living Planet. With his powers, Flux is able to make contact with Ego and expel the parasite which had been causing his rampage. Dennis realizes that whatever may happen, at least he saved billions of other people's lives.
