Namor: The First Mutant #2

Part of Marvel's 2010 "Curse of the Mutants" crossover, this second issue of Namor: The First Mutant arrives with a suitably unnerving cover by Jae Lee. Namor is shown dangling helplessly in the grip of a massive, decayed vampiric creature, surrounded by grasping clawed hands reaching up from below — an image that makes the Sub-Mariner look genuinely imperiled in his own underwater domain. Stuart Moore and Ariel Olivetti continue "Royal Blood: Part Two" with this striking promise that the deep has never felt more dangerous.
