Leonardo Manco, born on 16 December 1971 in Argentina, is a comic book artist whose career spans three decades of consistent work across both mainstream superhero titles and darker, more atmospheric corners of the medium.

Manco broke into comics in 1993 and built a reputation particularly well suited to gritty, supernatural material. His most prominent association is with *Hellblazer*, DC/Vertigo's long-running series centered on occult antihero John Constantine, where his moody, textured linework proved a strong fit for the book's tone. He has also left a notable mark on *Hellstorm: Prince of Lies* and *Deathlok*, demonstrating a consistent affinity for morally complex, often dark subject matter.

Beyond those signature titles, Manco contributed to Marvel's *War Machine* and later worked on *Wacky Raceland*, DC's revisionist take on the classic cartoon franchise, as well as the creator-owned crime series *Damaged*. Over his career he has served not only as penciler but also as inker and colorist, giving him an unusually full hand in shaping the final look of his pages.

Across more than 150 credited issues through 2023, Manco has remained a reliable and distinctive presence in the industry, recognized for artwork that favors shadow, weight, and psychological intensity over conventional superhero polish.
