Deathlok #1
In "The Crawl Part One: From Small Things," a mindless, supercharged Deathlok rampages through Las Vegas, forcing Nick Fury to dispatch agents with one impossible directive: capture it intact. Meanwhile, six-year-old Billy Bailey begins suffering strange visions and sudden shifts in behavior—until the consciousness of the long-dead Jack Truman stirs within him, awakening something far more dangerous than a child’s imagination. Written by Joe Casey and illustrated by Leonardo Manco, with colors by Mariana Manco and letters by Jon Babcock, the issue’s cover by Joe Quesada and Jae Lee captures the tension of a world where the line between man and machine—and past and present—is dangerously thin.
