Their greed leads them into a nightmare when, amid the ruins of the old house, they are suddenly swept into 18th-century France—where their fate takes a chilling turn as they are mistaken for nobility and condemned to the guillotine.

In "Ho scoperto l'abominevole Uomo delle Nevi," a desperate man ventures into the frozen heart of the Himalayas, driven by greed and a photograph of the legendary Abominable Snowman. As the locals warn him away, insisting the image is cursed, his obsession deepens into madness, and the mountain itself begins to mirror his unraveling mind.

In "La maschera di Drothor," a troubled artist crafts a haunting mask inspired by the face of a long-dead sorcerer. When he dons it to rob a mansion, his own features begin to shift, slowly becoming the mask’s ancient, malevolent likeness.
