☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis massive omnibus collects the full Infinite Crisis event, the landmark 2005-2006 DC Comics crossover that served as a 20th-anniversary sequel to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Written by Geoff Johns with art by Phil Jimenez, George Pérez, Ivan Reis, and others, the story follows the return of the Golden Age Superman, Superboy, and Alexander Luthor Jr. from a pocket universe as they attempt to restore the multiverse, leading to a devastating conflict involving nearly every major hero and villain in the DC Universe. The volume includes the seven-issue Infinite Crisis miniseries, all related tie-in issues from titles like The OMAC Project, Villains United, Rann-Thanagar War, Day of Vengeance, and JLA/JSA, plus the lead-in specials and the aftermath one-shots, presenting the entire saga in reading order.
In "Chapter 1" of The Infinite Crisis Omnibus, the Six—torn between loyalty and survival—defy Mockingbird’s orders and launch a desperate assault on a Society safehouse, gambling everything on a suicide mission. As tensions explode and secrets unravel—Deadshot’s betrayal, Scandal’s truth, Cheshire’s hidden pregnancy, and the cost of their choices—the Six find themselves hunted by both the Society and an army of supervillains, with Pariah and Lady Quark taken hostage. Gail Simone’s sharp storytelling and Dale Eaglesham’s dynamic art bring this high-stakes confrontation to life, with Jim Lee and Sandra Hope’s cover capturing the chaos in bold, striking detail.

The Six decide to raid a Society safehouse against Mockingbird's orders. Before Mockingbird can kill their families, though, they propose that they go against the Society on a suicide run. If they live, they’re free from Mockingbird's influence. If they die, they die with Mockingbird's enemies. Before that happens, Catman discovers it was Deadshot who killed his lions, Scandal is gay, and not only is Cheshire carrying Catman's child, but she has betrayed them to the Society. The Society responds by sending an army of supervillains to kill the Six as well as kidnapping Pariah and Lady Quark.
