The first chapter of Greg Rucka and Jesús Saiz's six-part series opens with a striking cover by José Ladrönn: Batman stands framed within a massive, concentric targeting reticle — a glowing crimson sphere at its center — reaching forward as brilliant light flares at his fingertips, suggesting surveillance, power, and something vast watching from above. The tagline "…So That Man May Live" adds a quietly unsettling undercurrent to the image. It's a compelling visual thesis for a 2005 DC miniseries that clearly has big, paranoid ideas about who's watching the world's heroes.
