The second chapter of Greg Rucka and Jesús Saiz's six-part miniseries pulls back the curtain on a surveillance operation that cuts right to the heart of the DC Universe. José Ladrönn's cover depicts a figure in a suit observed from behind, studying a large monitor displaying Superman, Wonder Woman, and Booster Gold — watched in turn by the silhouette of Batman's cowl, while the screen's border catalogs logos for Cadmus, S.T.A.R. Labs, the D.E.O., and other organizations. It's a quietly unsettling image of heroes under scrutiny, perfectly capturing the paranoid atmosphere that made this 2005 limited series such a compelling piece of DC's Infinite Crisis landscape.
