Will Pfeifer
Will Pfeifer is an American comic book writer born on July 28, 1967, best known for his work on DC Comics titles across roughly two decades of professional output.
Pfeifer broke into comics writing around 1999 and steadily built a reputation for character-driven superhero storytelling. Over the course of approximately 168 credited issues through 2020, he demonstrated a particular affinity for DC's second-tier and street-level characters, finding ways to deepen their personalities and moral complexity without losing sight of genre fundamentals.
His most substantial body of work came on *Catwoman*, where he delivered an extended run that remains well regarded among fans of Selina Kyle. He also wrote *H-E-R-O*, *Blood of the Demon*, and the inter-company crossover series *Captain Atom: Armageddon*, the last of which placed a classic DC hero within the Wildstorm universe and explored the consequences with genuine dramatic weight. His credits further include runs on *Aquaman* and *Teen Titans*, rounding out a career defined by solid, reliable work on established characters.
Pfeifer never became the subject of major industry awards recognition in the available record, but his consistent professionalism and thoughtful approach to lesser-spotlighted characters earned him a loyal readership and a respected place among writers working in mainstream superhero comics during the 2000s and 2010s.
