H-E-R-O #14
Two figures locked in an intense, electrically charged kiss dominate John Van Fleet's cover for this May 2004 DC series — a costumed hero and a civilian woman drawn together even as crackling energy pulses between them, the tagline "Lovers… And other Dangers" perfectly capturing the charged tension on display. Writer Will Pfeifer and artist Leonard Kirk bring "Changes: Conclusion" to a close here, promising emotional stakes to match the visual drama. It's a genuinely striking cover that balances romance and peril in equal measure.
