Michael Moreci
Michael Moreci is an American author and comic book writer known for his work in science fiction and horror. He was born on December 21, 1980, in Chicago, Illinois. Moreci began his comics career in the early 2010s, quickly establishing himself with original series like the military horror comic *Burning Fields* and the space-set *Roche Limit*, which was named to Paste’s list of the 50 best sci-fi comics. He also wrote two space-opera novels, *Black Star Renegades* and *We Are Mayhem*. Moreci has written extensively for established franchises, including *Star Wars*, *Stranger Things*, and the DC Universe, as well as a graphic novel adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s *Artemis Fowl* tied to Disney’s 2020 film. His most prolific credits include *Dick Tracy*, *Star Wars Adventures*, *Archie Meets Batman ’66*, *Wasted Space*, *Rick and Morty Youth in Rickvolt*, and *Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command*.
