Rick breaks a promise to Morty and, for Morty, this is one break too far. He completely shuts Rick out, despite Rick's best efforts win back Morty's slavish devotion. Failing that, Rick attempts to satisfy his need for unquestioned idolatry by creating "a controlled simple universe" whose youth gangs turn and wage a guerilla war against Rick. Prominent in this revolution are an alternate Castro-like version of Summer, and their ruthless leader... Morty.
