“Dick Tracy Meets The Blank”

In "Dick Tracy Meets The Blank," the iconic detective faces a chilling new threat as the city is gripped by a masked killer known only as The Blank. When gangster Fangs Foreman is brutally attacked after accusing Pat Patton of the crimes, Tracy races to rescue Breathless Mahoney, who’s been kidnapped and left dangling over a dangerous chemical vat. Written by Alex Segura and Michael Moreci, with dynamic artwork by Geraldo Borges and vibrant colors by Mark Englert, this 2025 Mad Cave Studios trade paperback delivers a tense, noir-infused mystery that keeps readers on edge. The cover, also by Geraldo Borges, captures the story’s dark, urgent tone.

Pat Patton violently accosts gangster Fangs Foreman (who has taken over exiled mob-boss Lips Manlis' operations) out behind Foreman's nightclub, accusing Foreman of being the vicious knife-killer known as The Blank. Patton is run off by Foreman's bodyguards and, while Foreman is still outside his club, he is brutally knife-attacked by The Blank. Tracy arranges to meet Breathless Mahoney for a lead on The Blank but finds that The Blank has kidnapped her and suspended her over a "Batman-like" boiling vat of chemicals. While still clinging to life, Foreman accuses Pat Patton of being The Blank.
