Adrian Gonzales (1937 – October 23, 1998) was a Filipino comics artist whose clean, dynamic linework made him a dependable hand at DC Comics during the 1970s and 1980s. Born in the Philippines, he entered the industry through the Filipino wave of talent that brought many illustrators to American publishers. Gonzales is best remembered for his contributions to DC's superhero and fantasy titles, notably *All-Star Squadron*, *Arak, Son of Thunder*, and *Super Powers*. His style balanced energetic action with clear storytelling, often inked with a sharp, precise touch. He frequently collaborated with writers like Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway, and his work appeared across a wide range of genres. Among his notable co-creations are issues of *Sgt. Rock*, *World's Finest Comics*, *House of Mystery*, and *Démon*. Over a career spanning from 1972 into the late 1990s, he was credited as artist, colorist, or inker on nearly 100 issues. Gonzales passed away on October 23, 1998. While he never received major industry awards, his steady output helped define the look of DC's Bronze Age superhero line, and his art remains appreciated by collectors of the era.
