All-Star Squadron #8

The All-Star Squadron faces some of their most dangerous odds on this Joe Kubert cover, where a giant green insectoid villain — the martial arts monster Kung — tears through the team atop what appears to be a speeding locomotive, with heroes including Hawkman, a gold-armored figure, a blue metallic hero, and others scrambling to hold their ground. The cover copy promises mortal combat with Kung in a high-stakes mission to save the life of Winston Churchill himself, while also heralding the sensational return of Steel, the Indestructible Man.
