Arak and Haakon face off one-on-one in the city of White Cathay. If Haakon wins, he'll be showered with riches. If Arak wins, Angelica will release Malagigi. However, before the battle reaches its end, the populace rises up at the urging of Johannes and attacks the city guard. It turns out Johannes is the long-lost king of White Cathay, but Angelica won't be giving up her rule willingly. After Angelica uses her sorcery to crush the rebellion, Johannes begins a journey to a nether-realm to request the aid of a demon. Along for ride: Arak and Malagigi.
