Heimdall
Heimdall is an Asgardian god of extraordinary sight and hearing, born of the Norse pantheon and introduced in Marvel's early Thor mythos. He serves as the all-seeing guardian of the Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge connecting Asgard to the other Nine Realms.
Few characters in Marvel's cosmic tapestry have stood as long and as steadfastly as Heimdall, who first took his post in Journey into Mystery #85 in 1962, conjured into existence by the legendary trio of Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby at the very dawn of Marvel's Silver Age. Over more than six decades — from those early Kirby-blazing pages through Thor, Journey into Mystery, and into the current Immortal Thor — this Asgardian has proven himself one of the most enduring figures in Marvel's mythological corner, racking up 186 catalog appearances and a remarkable ten key issues that collectors prize. He shares his adventures with some of the mightiest names in Asgard — Thor Odinson, Loki, Balder, Volstagg, and Hogun among them — placing him at the very heart of Marvel's Norse saga for generation after generation of readers. If you want to understand the grand, sweeping tradition of Marvel's Asgard from its Silver Age foundations to today, Heimdall is an essential figure to follow.
Real name. Heimdall

Trivia
- Marvel quietly retconned Sif into Thor's sister at some point, a sibling bond that has no clear basis in actual Norse mythology and stands as a purely Marvel-created family link.youtube.com
