About this Collection

This collection brings together the 2015 'Avengers: Ultron Forever' storyline, which pits an unlikely alliance of Avengers from different eras against a time-spanning Ultron threat. Written by Al Ewing with art by Alan Davis, the story features classic and alternate-future versions of heroes like Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Captain America, alongside Doctor Doom and Loki, as they confront a robotic foe that has conquered all of history.

In "Ultron Forever: Part One of Three," the Hulk—still wrestling with the instability of his gamma-powered form—faces an alien threat unlike any he's encountered before. When his transformation falters under the strain of a new enemy, the Metal Master, the Hulk must rely on more than just strength to survive. With the Teen Brigade forming and Ross holding him captive, the odds are stacked high, but one thing is certain: this battle will change everything. Cover by Alan Davis, with inks by Mark Farmer.

Finding his transformations more and more difficult using his gamma ray machine, the Hulk with Banner's brain also finds that he has Banner's features when he zaps himself to face the alien invading Metal Master and his head does not transform. The power of the Metal Master is too much for the Hulk and he is captured by Ross. Rick forms the Teen Brigade. Hulk breaks free of Ross's bunker and then pulls off one of the boldest victories against one of the most powerful aliens ever seen.
