This sixth volume of Panini's complete Thor collection reprints the French translations of Thor stories from 1964, featuring the God of Thunder facing off against a rogues' gallery that includes Loki, the Enchantress, the Executioner, and the frost giant Ymir. The collection also sees Thor teaming up with fellow Avengers like Iron Man, Captain America, and Giant-Man, while the villainous Zarrko the Tomorrow Man and the monstrous Surtur make early appearances. Key supporting characters such as Odin, Balder, Sif, and Jane Foster are woven throughout these classic Silver Age tales, which were originally crafted by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
In "Le retour de Zarrko, l'homme du futur !", le jeune Thor se bat pour prouver sa valeur en voulant aider Heimdall à défendre Asgard, mais est repoussé pour sa propre sécurité. Le jeune Thor veut aider Heimdall à défendre Asgard afin de pouvoir être autorisé à soulever le marteau d'Odin, Mjolnir. Heimdall le repousse pour le protège, alors Loki entraîne Thor dans un endroit isolé pour défendre la brèche que le dieu du mensonge a lui-même réalisée, et par laquelle arriveront les hordes qu'il a prévenue.
