“Vote Loki [Part One]”
About this Collection

Vote Loki collects the 2016 miniseries that imagines the God of Mischief running for President of the United States. Written by Christopher Hastings with art by Martin Coccolo, this satirical political story follows Loki's campaign as he charms the American public with his silver tongue, while heroes like Captain America and Iron Man grow suspicious of his true motives. The collection includes all four issues of the series, plus a variant cover gallery and the 2016 Vote Loki one-shot.

In "Vote Loki [Part One]," Nisa finds herself caught between Thor and a bizarre new political reality when she must clarify her stance on Loki’s presidential campaign. As strange rituals unfold and Loki himself declares divine rights for his followers, the line between myth and democracy begins to blur in unexpected ways. Written by Christopher Hastings and illustrated by Paul McCaffrey, with colors by Chris Chuckry and letters by VC's Travis Lanham, the issue features a striking cover by Tradd Moore.

Nisa has to explain to Thor that she did not endorse Loki for President. Things get weirder when she stumbles upon a gathering of Loki cultists trying to cast spells using a goat, but Loki explains to the country that, since he's a god, his followers are entitled to freedom of religion.
