There's something delightfully off about seeing Thor beam with a corporate-sponsored grin while hoisting a Mjolnir emblazoned with the Roxxon logo — all framed against gleaming golden architecture and Roxxon signage — and that uneasy charm is exactly what makes this one-shot so intriguing. Al Ewing and Greg Land team up to launch "The Roxxon Age of Comix," asking what happens when the God of Thunder gets the full brand-partnership treatment. Land's cover, inked by himself and colored by Frank D'Armata, sells the absurdity and spectacle in equal measure.
