About the series

Launching as part of DC's New 52 initiative, this 56-issue series redefined the Scarlet Speedster for a modern era, with Francis Manapul’s luminous, kinetic art and co-writing alongside Brian Buccellato setting a visually stunning tone. Later, writer Van Jensen and artists Brett Booth and Patrick Zircher deepened the mythos, pitting Barry Allen against a rogues' gallery of new and classic threats while exploring the emotional cost of super-speed.
