Titled "The Sins of the Father!" right on the cover, this 2015 DC entry puts a grim-faced man in a prison jumpsuit at the center of a lightning-charged vortex, armed with a knife and surrounded on all sides by five Flash-suited speedsters closing in around him. Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund craft a dizzying, kinetic composition where the crackling Speed Force energy practically leaps off the page. It's a visually compelling setup from writers Robert Venditti and Van Jensen that makes issue #42 hard to pass up.
