Part of DC's New 52 line, this February 2014 issue puts the Scarlet Speedster front and center as he streaks through the sky — lightning crackling all around him — in apparent pursuit of a jet aircraft trailing smoke and flame. The cover, penciled by Brett Booth and inked by Norm Rapmund, crackles with kinetic energy, capturing the Flash mid-dive in a blur of Speed Force electricity that practically leaps off the page. With the tagline "On the Hunt for Spitfire!" and a creative team of writer Christos N. Gage and artist Neil Googe, issue #26 promises high-velocity action well above the ground level.
