Part two of "Gorilla Warfare" arrives in style with this January 2013 New 52 entry, as the cover by Francis Manapul puts the Scarlet Speedster in immediate, terrifying peril — the massive, rage-fueled Gorilla Grodd looms over Flash, crackling Speed Force lightning arcing between the two as Grodd's enormous fist closes in. The tagline "Grodd Gone Mad!" says it all, and Manapul's dynamic composition makes the size difference between hero and villain feel genuinely overwhelming. If you enjoy a good underdog showdown drawn with kinetic energy and real menace, this is a fine place to be.
