Tyler Crook
Tyler Crook is an American cartoonist best known for his atmospheric watercolor work on *B.P.R.D.: Hell on Earth* and for co-creating the rural horror series *Harrow County* with writer Cullen Bunn. Born in the United States, he broke into the comics industry in 2011 with *Petrograd*, a historical thriller written by Philip Gelatt and published by Oni Press. The following year, his rapid ascent was recognized with the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award. Crook’s signature style blends moody, painterly washes with crisp linework, giving his monsters and backwoods settings a haunting, organic feel. He has served as artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer across more than a hundred issues, with notable collaborations including Mike Mignola and John Arcudi on *B.P.R.D.* and work on *Grindhouse: Drive In, Bleed Out*, *Colonel Weird: Cosmagog*, and *Manor Black*. In recent years, he has written and drawn his own solo series, *The Lonesome Hunters*. Crook’s contributions to horror and fantasy comics have earned him a dedicated following, and he continues to work steadily, maintaining a handcrafted approach to storytelling that sets him apart in modern comics.
