DC Horror Presents... #4

Tyler Crook's cover for this fourth and final issue sets an unsettling tone immediately — a Green Lantern figure, his face grotesquely decayed and his ring aglow with eerie emerald light, lunges toward the viewer against a murky, blood-tinged background. The anthology format continues here with two tales spotlighting Catwoman and Matter-Eater Lad, written by Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum with interior art by Danny Earls and colors by Jão Canola. It's a satisfying close to a mini-series that has leaned hard into DC's darker corners, and that cover alone makes a compelling case for horror and superheroes as natural bedfellows.
