Harrow County #2
Tyler Crook's cover for this second issue tells you everything you need to know about the tone Cullen Bunn and Crook are going for: a young woman clutches something tight to her chest as she stumbles through a graveyard, while glowing-eyed, skeletal figures rise from the earth around her and a massive, monstrous face looms in the darkness above. Shadowy figures with a lantern lurk at the edges, deepening the sense that whatever haunts Harrow County has her surrounded. Jeff Lemire called it "disturbing and genuinely brilliant at its core," and this 2015 Dark Horse series shows exactly why that praise landed so well.
