That unsettling grin says everything — the cover of Harrow County #26 features a blood-spattered figure staring out with white, pupilless eyes and a wide, feral smile, set against a blazing orange-and-yellow background that pulses with eerie energy. Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook have built one of horror comics' most atmospheric series, and this 2017 installment — titled "Exterminator" — looks every bit as dark and foreboding as that title implies. Crook's painted linework is on full display here, lending the cover an almost tactile dread that earns every word of that Fangoria pull quote.
