Tom Brevoort
Tom Brevoort is an American comic book editor best known for his long tenure at Marvel Comics, where he has overseen major titles including *New Avengers*, *Civil War*, and *Fantastic Four*. Born in the United States, he entered the industry in the early 1990s, working his way up through editorial ranks. His most credited writing work appears on series such as *Fantastic Force*, *The Secret Defenders*, and *Avengers*, as well as reference works like *The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Master Edition*. Brevoort became Marvel’s Executive Editor in 2007, and in January 2011 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Publishing. As of 2024, he serves as Group Editor of the X-Men line.
