Frazer Irving (born 1970) is a British comic book artist best known for his atmospheric, painterly style and his work on the series *Necronauts* for the British weekly *2000 AD*. After breaking into the American market, he became a frequent collaborator with writer Grant Morrison, contributing to titles such as *Seven Soldiers: Klarion the Witch Boy*, *Batman and Robin*, and the original graphic novel *Annihilator*. Irving’s signature approach blends moody, often monochromatic color palettes with detailed, almost architectural linework, giving his pages a distinct, brooding texture. He has also handled inking, coloring, and lettering on many of his projects, notably the DC series *Xombi* and the Marvel miniseries *Iron Man: Inevitable*. His other notable work includes *Fort: Prophet of the Unexplained* and a run on *2000 AD*’s *Judge Dredd*. Irving has remained active in the industry through the 2010s, with his last credited work appearing in 2019. While he has not received major mainstream awards, his distinctive visual style has earned him a dedicated following among fans of moody, supernatural, and superhero comics.
