Prog 1276 of Britain's beloved weekly anthology arrives with a cover by Frazer Irving that sets an unsettling tone: a screaming figure in a spotted coat recoils from a looming, skull-masked entity with enormous, feather-streaked hands reaching down from a sickly pink haze. The tagline "Altered States! Prepare for a very bad trip..." promises something deeply psychedelic and more than a little sinister lurking inside. With Gordon Rennie writing and Paul Marshall on art, "A Walk in the Park" sounds like anything but a leisurely stroll through 2002's Thrill-Power landscape.
