The "War of the Unworthy" reaches a fever pitch in this 2017 Marvel series, and Olivier Coipel's cover captures the tension beautifully — a battle-worn, axe-wielding Thor charges forward, flanked by a white-haired figure with glowing red eyes and a horned warrior brandishing a lightning-charged spear. The trio's raw energy and clashing power makes this one of the more viscerally compelling covers of the run, with Coipel's linework giving each figure a distinct, imposing weight. Jason Aaron's creative team brings plenty of firepower to this penultimate chapter of the miniseries.
