David Lafuente is a Spanish comic book artist, born in 1982, who is best known for his energetic, expressive work on the *Ultimate Spider-Man* and *Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man* series. He currently lives in London. Lafuente entered the industry in the late 2000s, quickly making a name for himself with a clean, animated style that brought a youthful vitality to superhero comics. His most prominent collaborations have been with writer Brian Michael Bendis on the *Ultimate* line, where he helped define the look of Miles Morales’ early adventures. Beyond Spider-Man, Lafuente’s signature work includes the miniseries *All-New Doop*, *M.O.D.O.K.
