David Lafuente

David Lafuente is a Spanish comic book artist, born in 1982, who is best known for his energetic, expressive work on the *Ultimate Spider-Man* and *Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man* series. He currently lives in London. Lafuente entered the industry in the late 2000s, quickly making a name for himself with a clean, animated style that brought a youthful vitality to superhero comics. His most prominent collaborations have been with writer Brian Michael Bendis on the *Ultimate* line, where he helped define the look of Miles Morales’ early adventures. Beyond Spider-Man, Lafuente’s signature work includes the miniseries *All-New Doop*, *M.O.D.O.K. Assassin*, and the fan-favorite *Patsy Walker: Hellcat*, where his knack for dynamic, character-driven storytelling shone. He has been credited as artist or inker on over 100 issues between 2008 and 2025. While he has not received major industry awards, his contributions to the *Ultimate* universe and his lively, accessible style have made him a respected figure in modern superhero art.
