Back home, Johnny tells Rick he was chosen by an alien race to protect the world and help guide humanity into the future. La tía May descubre que Rick Jones, el hijo de su vecina Marion, tiene poderes y envía a Peter, Johnny y Bobby, en sus trajes de héroes, para que platiquen con él. Sin embargo lo asustan, y éste se teletransporta accidentalmente a Ann Harbor, Michigan, llevando a Spider-Man con él.
