In "Encrucijada: Parte 1 de 2," Aunt May discovers that Rick Jones, the son of her neighbor Marion, has unexpected powers and sends Peter, Johnny, and Bobby—dressed as heroes—to talk to him. When their approach frightens Rick, he accidentally teleports to Ann Harbor, Michigan, taking Spider-Man with him. Back home, Johnny tells Rick he was chosen by an alien race to protect the world and help guide humanity into the future. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and Luis Sánchez, with art by Takeshi Miyazawa and colors by Justin Ponsor, this issue features a striking cover by David Lafuente.
