Part two of the "Tainted Love" arc arrives with a cover that puts a fierce, brown-haired young woman front and center, dual pistols raised and expression locked in fierce determination, while a crowd of alarmed bystanders — and Spider-Man himself — press in behind her. David Lafuente's linework gives the scene a tight, almost cinematic tension, with Justin Ponsor's warm reds amplifying the urgency packed into every face. Brian Michael Bendis's Ultimate Spider-Man was consistently one of Marvel's most character-driven titles in 2010, and this issue promises that momentum is very much continuing.
