Sinister Sons #3

The sons of General Zod and Sinestro are in serious trouble in this third chapter of "Bad Sons Rising," as the cover by David Lafuente shows the two young antiheroes standing their ground while a monstrous, many-toothed creature — Spaceman Joe — looms enormous and menacing above them. There's a gleeful pulp-adventure energy to the composition, with the kids looking defiant despite being thoroughly outmatched in size. Peter J. Tomasi and Vasco Georgiev's series continues to deliver an entertaining pairing of DC villainy's next generation, and Tamra Bonvillain's colors give the whole thing a sharp, atmospheric glow against the stark black backdrop.
