All-New Doop #3

Doop goes full ninja on the cover of All-New Doop #3, rendered in Mike Allred's characteristically playful style — the little green blob is swathed in a black shinobi wrap and brandishing nunchaku and throwing stars with surprising menace. Behind him looms a diverse cast of mysterious figures, including a hulking blue creature, a yeti-like giant, a mummy-wrapped woman in chains, and several hooded and cloaked characters surveying the scene. Peter Milligan scripts and David Lafuente and Jacopo Camagni bring the interiors, making this 2014 All-New Marvel NOW! installment a genuinely fun slice of one of Marvel's most delightfully odd corners.
