ChrisCross
Christopher Williams, better known as ChrisCross, is a comic book penciller and inker who made his mark in the 1990s with dynamic, clean-lined superhero art. Born in the United States, he entered the industry in 1993 and quickly became a key figure at Milestone Media, drawing *Blood Syndicate* and *Heroes*. His work caught the attention of both Marvel and DC, leading to runs on *Captain Marvel* and *Slingers* at Marvel, and a defining stint on *Firestorm* at DC. With writer Dan Jolley, he co-created Jason Rusch, the second Firestorm, a milestone for DC's legacy characters. ChrisCross also contributed to *Green Lantern Corps* and tackled short stories featuring Spider-Man, Mace Windu, and the *Star Wars* and *Aliens* universes. A planned larger project at Marvel was condensed into the miniseries *Weapon X-Men*, starring Cable, Deadpool, Wolverine, Chamber, and Thunderbird. Over a career spanning from 1993 to 2025, he has been credited on 137 issues, with his most frequent titles including *Captain Marvel*, *Blood Syndicate*, *Xero*, *Slingers*, *Firestorm*, and *Static: Season One*. His legacy rests on his energetic, expressive style and his role in shaping both Milestone's diverse universe and major superhero franchises.
