Titled "Truth, Consequences, Dares & Dysfunction," this May 1999 Marvel issue puts the young Slingers team front and center in a rooftop showdown above a bustling cityscape. ChrisCross and Rob Stull's cover depicts the caped Ricochet in a dramatic lunging pose alongside his teammates — including a green-armored figure and a glowing companion — while Captain America's shield spins through the air and a mysterious armored figure looms in the background strip. The tagline "With Great Power Must Come Great Responsibility" hangs over the whole scene, reminding readers that these teens are carrying a legacy that's anything but lightweight.
