Chris Weston

Chris Weston (born 1969) is a British comic book artist whose clean, dynamic linework and expressive storytelling have made him a sought-after collaborator on both sides of the Atlantic. He entered the industry in the late 1980s, cutting his teeth on the UK anthology *2000 AD*, where his detailed, kinetic style quickly earned notice. Weston is best known for his long-running partnership with writer Grant Morrison, notably on the surreal espionage series *The Filth* and the time-hopping superhero epic *The Invisibles*, where his ability to render both the grotesque and the sublime with equal clarity became a hallmark. He also co-created the miniseries *The Twelve* with J. Michael Straczynski, a World War II-era superhero ensemble that showcased his flair for period detail and ensemble casts.
