The Invisibles #21
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeGrant Morrison, Chris Weston, and Ray Kryssing continue The Invisibles with issue #21, "All Tomorrow's Parties," a Vertigo mature-readers title that kept 1999 readers thoroughly on edge. Brian Bolland's cover delivers an unsettling low-angle composition: a massive, dual-cannon-armed mechanical figure looms overhead, wires trailing from its torso, while two figures — a shaved-head man and a blonde woman — recoil in the foreground, caught in what looks like sheer panic. The sense of scale and dread is immediate, making this one hard to leave on the shelf.
