Alan Zelenetz
Alan Zelenetz, born June 24, 1948, is an American comic-book writer and film producer. He is best known for co-creating the Epic Comics series *Alien Legion*, a space-opera military saga that blended science fiction with gritty realism. Zelenetz entered comics in the early 1980s, quickly becoming a reliable writer for Marvel. He penned runs on *Moon Knight*, *Thor*, and *Conan the King*, often working with artists like John Buscema and Bill Sienkiewicz. His work on *Conan* and *Kull the Conqueror* showcased a talent for dark fantasy and heroic adventure. Zelenetz also co-founded Ovie Entertainment, moving into film production later in his career. His credits span nearly four decades, from 1982 to 2021, with over 90 issues.
