In "Fragments: A Witch's Tale," Mad Zandra’s dark magic takes root as she begins shaping the young Prince Taurus, setting off a chain of perilous events. With the help of Dexitheus and his Black Dragons, Conan races to find Taurus—only to discover the boy transformed into a black goat, a disguise meant to hide him from his father. As Conan thwarts Zandra’s schemes and burns her cottage, Taurus attempts to reclaim his form, but the spell falters, leaving him with a goat’s hoof. When Zandra tries to reclaim her charge using her amulet, she unwittingly captures Conan’s son Conn instead—unaware of the true family he belongs to.

In "null," Prince Conn faces execution in Numalia for a murder he didn’t commit, only to vanish mid-hanging and reappear in the forest before the enigmatic Mad Zandra. As Conn races to find his father, his brother Taurus—threatened by Conn’s claim to the throne—betrays him, teaming up with Zandra to spirit him away. King Conan, witnessing the disappearance, is left staring at empty air, wondering if he’s seen a ghost.
