In "Fragments: A Witch's Tale," Conan the King faces a sinister enchantress as young Prince Taurus becomes the target of Mad Zandra’s dark magic. With help from Dexitheus and his Black Dragons, Conan races to rescue the boy, only to find himself outwitted when Zandra transforms Taurus into a black goat. The tale unfolds with high stakes and eerie twists, culminating in a fiery confrontation and a transformation left unfinished—leaving Taurus with a goat hoof and Conan protecting his family from a sorceress whose magic has unintended consequences. Written by Alan Zelenetz and illustrated by Dave Simons, with inks by Geof Isherwood, colors by George Roussos, and letters by Richard Parker, the issue’s haunting atmosphere is matched by Mike Kaluta and Charles Vess’s striking cover art.
