Moon Knight #1

This 1985 limited series relaunch — subtitled Fist of Khonshu — announces itself with a striking cover by Chris Warner: Moon Knight, costumed in white with an ankh emblem on his chest, charges forward on horseback through billowing smoke while sword- and spear-wielding warriors press in from both sides. Looming behind him is a towering, hawk-helmeted Egyptian figure clutching a staff and the ankh symbol, set against hieroglyph-carved temple walls bathed in deep red and gold. The cover's promise of "A New Beginning — and the Strangest Secret of All!" captures the sense that Marc Spector's connection to Khonshu is being explored with fresh mythology and genuine atmosphere.
