Rachel Roth
Born in the mystical pacifist realm of Azarath, Rachel Roth — better known as Raven — is the half-human daughter of the interdimensional demon lord Trigon. She inherited vast empathic and sorcerous abilities from her dark parentage, and eventually sought out Earth's heroes to help her stand against her father's malevolent influence.
Rachel Roth stepped onto the Modern Age stage in 2005's Teen Titans #21, brought to life by the acclaimed Geoff Johns and Mike McKone, and she's been a compelling presence in DC's universe ever since. With over two decades of publication history stretching from 2005 all the way to 2026 and 212 catalog appearances across marquee titles like Titans, Detective Comics, and Teen Titans, she's clearly no footnote — she's a fixture. Along the way she's shared pages with some of DC's most beloved young heroes, including Garfield Logan, Starfire, Dick Grayson, and Robin, placing her squarely at the heart of the Teen Titans corner of the DC universe. Two key collector issues mark her journey, making her a character well worth tracking down for anyone who loves the rich, character-driven storytelling that defines DC's Modern Age at its best.
