A towering, horned figure — Mother Blood — dominates this cover, screaming against a blazing orange sky as grotesque crimson tendrils writhe around her, threatening to engulf the Titans struggling below. The team, including a Green Lantern, a pink-haired figure, and several others, fight to break free from her visceral grip in a scene rendered with real intensity by Clayton Henry and colored brilliantly by Marcelo Maiolo. Dan Abnett's "Last Rites" arc takes a deep dive into Mother Blood's origins, and this issue makes a compelling case that she's one of the more visually striking antagonists the team has faced.
